The most direct way to travel to Punta Mita is to fly into Puerto Vallarta, MX Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport. Once you've landed and made your way through customs, you have two transportation options:

Taxi: Official airport taxis are available just outside the terminal and offer the most convenient pickup. Simply let your driver know where you're staying in Punta Mita.

Uber: Uber is also available and is typically much less expensive than an airport taxi. To meet your driver, you'll need to exit the airport and cross the pedestrian bridge over the highway, where Uber pickups are permitted.

From the airport, the drive to Punta Mita is approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
